Students may enter the two year MBA programme through a common entrance test
at state level, the I-CET which is conducted every year. Candidates from
diverse fields such as Arts, Commerce, Natural Science, Mathematics and
Engineering take this test to prove their general aptitude and analytical
skills. The Course The two year full time MBA is divided into 4 semesters of
study. The course is designed to enhance the students to develop analytical,
organizational and interpersonal skills and reflect the management reality
in which one will be working.

The world has become increasingly information sensitive with
a need for all managers to be able to incorporate vast amount of information
into their decision making. The programme also envisages this corporate
reality.
During the four terms of study, students take required core courses plus
electives in one of the functional areas of Marketing, Finance and Human
Resource Management. The course is designed also to offer a balanced
perspective that leads to an understanding of the interrelationships of all
the management functions.
In addition to the academic schedule, the students are exposed to
co-curricular and extra curricular activities like Seminars, Group
Discussions, Debates, Quiz, Role Play, Case Study and interaction with the
corporate community that exists in Hyderabad.

SUMMER TRAINING
The Project Work is of 6-8
Weeks duration, undertaken on the Completion of the first year (during April-june) is an
internal part of the post graduate Programme .It enables the students to gain exposure of
the organisation and Provides them with opportunities to relate theoretical concepts and
skills to real life management situation.
The student, during the course of the project work will be guided and supervised by an
executive of the organisation , assigned for the purpose. At the end of the Project
work,the executive is required to send to the Institute an evauation of the performance of
the student . Supporting guidance will be given by one of the faculty members of the
institute in completing the project work. |
